This year's GS&A will be on Saturday October 14th from 8 am until noon at Green Valley Rifle & Pistol Club. We have secured a special rate of $20 per shooter and have two pistol ranges reserved. One range will have moving targets.
The $20 fee is paid to Green Valley PRC on the day.
It will be a handgun only event this year. Let us know below if you don't have your own, we have a few men who are willing to loan one of theirs.
All shooters must register for this event. To register complete the form below.
Jeremiah Smith will be creating his awesome BBQ again this year. We will start lunch around 11:30
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's):
Q. What's with the $20 per shooter fee?
A. Green Valley RPC worked with us on making the fee affordable.
Q. Why are you holding this event again, I don't even like guns!
A. There are a lot of men at Compass who shoot so we created a fun event where men could get toegther doing something they enjoy, eat some great BBQ, and have fun. If it's not your thing, we totally get it. Hopefully you will find one of our other events or activities more appealing.
Q. Can I bring my wife?
A. No. Sorry. This is a men's event organized by Compass Men's Ministry.
Q. Do I have to register?
A. Yes. We want to be good stewards and not buy too much food (or worse: not enough!) and we need to know how many men are coming so we can plan. We also want you to be accountable - so let your yes be yes! Now, if you suddenly find yourself free and able to come the day of the event, we want you to come and will be happy to see you!
Q. Can I bring a buddy?
A. Sure! Just register him using this form or the sign-up sheet at church.
Q. Is this an outreach event?
A. It's not designed as one but we welcome men you know who don't attend Compass Church.
Q. When is the deadline to register?
A. Since we have plans to make and food to buy we really want everyone to register by October 12th. We want to be accomodating though, so late registration will be open up to the day of the event.
Q. What if I register and can't make it?
A. That's OK, but please let us know as soon as you know you can't make it (email Mark @ firstname.lastname@example.org).
We will miss you and you will miss out on a fun time!
Q. Who and when do I pay?
A. You pay Green Valley RPC when you arrive on the day.
Q. Where is the event being held?
A. This year we are holding it at Green Valley Pistol Club, 4350 E Academy Rd, Hallsville, MO 65255

A. Yes, you need to buy your ammo, it's not include in the club fee.

A. See Dale's note in the Event Rules & Safety downloadable doc at the top of this page.

A. No, they don't.
Q. Are there prizes?

A. This years event is pistols only.
Q. Can I bring my shotgun?
